What to Expect From Your First Visits

If you haven't been to the chiropractor before, you may be unsure of what to expect. At your initial visit, we will complete a full exam to find the roots of any pain you are experiencing. In many cases, we will take x-rays of the spine in order to make a diagnosis. If you have imaging from another doctor, it's always helpful to bring it with you.

Generally, we don't adjust patients at this initial exam. The doctor will take the time to thoroughly review the findings from the exam and x-rays. At your next visit, we will discuss our report of findings—what we think is causing the pain and how we plan to treat it. At this visit, you will receive your first adjustment.

We understand patients have a variety of comfort levels coming into a chiropractor for the first time. We use a variety of gentle techniques and will work with you to make sure you are getting the most out of each adjustment.
